Linux desktop

The Linux plugin supports Flutter desktop on Linux x64. Video frames are rendered through a Flutter pixel-buffer texture. Playback and intercom audio use PulseAudio.

The build host must provide Flutter's Linux desktop prerequisites and PulseAudio headers. On Ubuntu 22.04, install at least libgtk-3-dev, libpulse-dev, cmake, ninja-build, and pkg-config. Bluetooth provisioning uses the system BlueZ service over D-Bus, so the target system must also have BlueZ installed and running.

For repository-local development, build the Linux native SDK before building the Flutter application:

cd platform/flutter/rapid_kit/example
flutter run -d linux

To use a separately prepared SDK, set RAPID_LINUX_SDK_DIR to the directory containing core/, media/, sdl/, and libraries/ before running Flutter.

Linux Bluetooth provisioning supports BlueZ adapters, BLE discovery, GATT connection, writable characteristic selection, and binding-profile writes. The desktop user must be allowed to access org.bluez on the system bus. LAN, cloud, and local playback do not depend on Bluetooth.
