eas_passport_ocr Evaluation and Commercial License
Version 1.0
Copyright (c) 2026 Easit. All rights reserved.
1. Scope
This license applies to the original source code, documentation and examples
of the eas_passport_ocr Flutter package (the "Software") owned by Easit
(the "Licensor"). It does not replace the licenses of third-party components.
This is a proprietary, source-available license, not an open-source license.
2. Limited evaluation permission
Subject to these terms, the Licensor permits you to download, inspect, copy,
compile, run and modify the Software solely for your own internal testing and
evaluation of whether to obtain a separate license. You may allow employees
or contractors acting on your behalf to conduct that evaluation, provided
they are bound by these restrictions. Keep evaluation copies and modifications
internal and retain all copyright and license notices.
This permission does not include production deployment, commercial use,
providing a service to third parties, or distributing the Software or an
application incorporating it. Evaluation does not require a fee, create a
purchase obligation, or automatically convert into a commercial license.
3. Separate written authorization
Any use beyond section 2 requires prior written authorization from the
Licensor. In particular, production use, use in business operations, use in
paid or free publicly distributed applications, hosted services, sublicensing,
resale, and redistribution of source or compiled code (including modified
versions) require a separate written license.
A separate license should identify the authorized licensee, permitted products
or services, use and distribution scope, duration, and any fees. None of those
rights or commercial terms are granted merely by downloading this package,
installing it from pub.dev, or paying a third party. If a separate written
agreement with the Licensor conflicts with this license, that agreement
controls for the rights and parties it expressly covers.
4. Package registry distribution
The Licensor may publish the Software through pub.dev or another registry.
The operators of a registry authorized by the Licensor, and its delivery and
package-cache infrastructure, may store and deliver the unmodified package
for that distribution. This limited permission does not grant recipients
production, commercial or redistribution rights beyond sections 2 and 3.
5. Ownership and notices
The Licensor retains ownership of the Software. Modifying the Software does
not remove the restrictions applying to the underlying Software. Do not
remove or misrepresent its copyright, attribution or license notices. No
trademark rights are granted. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. Third-party components and mandatory rights
Flutter, google_mlkit_text_recognition, image, native Google ML Kit libraries,
and any other third-party components remain subject to their respective
licenses and terms. This license does not restrict permissions granted by
those third-party licenses or grant rights that the Licensor does not own.
Nothing in this license excludes rights that applicable law does not permit
the parties to restrict.
7. No warranty or service commitment
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided as is,
without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular
purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. OCR results may be incorrect;
validation of machine-readable fields does not authenticate a document or a
person. No support, maintenance, update or service-level obligation is included
unless separately agreed in writing.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor is not liable for
loss of profits, data, business opportunities or other indirect, incidental,
special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the
Software. This clause does not exclude or limit liability where applicable
law prohibits that exclusion or limitation.
9. Breach and termination
If you breach these terms, the evaluation permissions granted by this license
terminate. You must stop use and remove copies under your control, except
copies required to be retained by law or rights expressly preserved by a
separate written license. Ownership, third-party rights, warranty disclaimers
and liability limitations survive termination to the extent applicable.
10. Obtaining a commercial license
Obtain a separate written authorization directly from the Licensor before
any production or commercial deployment. A package listing, download,
successful build or passing test is not evidence of that authorization.
