How to use? #

the first way,use SmartRefresher and RefreshController(Advice use this)

   dependencies:
     pull_to_refresh: ^1.4.0

RefreshController _refreshController;

initState(){

    super.initState();
     // if you need refreshing when init,notice:initialRefresh is new after 1.3.9
    _refreshController = RefreshController(initialRefresh:true);
   /*
   //  before 1.3.9
     SchedulerBinding.instance.addPostFrameCallback((_) {
         _refreshController.requestRefresh();
        });
  */

}

void _onRefresh(){

   /*.  after the data return,
        use _refreshController.refreshComplete() or refreshFailed() to end refreshing
   */
}

void _onLoading(){
   /*
        use _refreshController.loadComplete() or loadNoData() to end loading
   */
}

build(){
...
SmartRefresher(
      enablePullDown: true,
      enablePullUp: true,
      header: defaultTargetPlatform == TargetPlatform.iOS?WaterDropHeader():WaterDropMaterialHeader(),
      controller: _refreshController,
      onRefresh: _onRefresh,
      onLoading: _onLoading,
      child: "yourContentScrollView",
    )
....
}

// don't forget to dispose refreshController
void dispose(){
    _refreshController.dispose();
    super.dispose();
}

Second Way(1.3.7 new),Considering that sometimes Sliver doesn't have to be placed in the first

     /*
           1. Request refresh operation
           For FrontStyle header, animateTo (0.0), for other refresh styles, animateTo (- trigger Distance) is the default trigger distance of 80.
           Of course, not all indicators have a trigger distance of 80, such as WaterDropHeader, which has an internal trigger distance of 100.0.
            _animateTo(-80.0);

            2.Request loading operation
            _scrollController
                         .animateTo(scrollController.position.maxScrollExtent);

            3.Sometimes, if you have to operate on the status of an internal indicator, you can use GlobalKey, which exposes getters and setters.
            GlobalKey<LoadIndicatorState> key = GlobalKey();
            key.currentState.mode = LoadStatus.idle;
      */

    /*
     for physics:
     1.for header: Follow,UnFollow,Behind Style
     return RefreshBouncePhysics()
     2.header is Front Style
     Return RefreshClampPhysics (springBackDistance: 100.0) when displayed, and 100.0 corresponds to the header's height
     Return to Clamping ScrollPhysics when hidden
    */
    CustomScrollView(
      controller: _scrollController,
      physics: RefreshBouncePhysics(), //don't forget,necessary
      slivers: [
        .....
        _enablePullDown?ClassicHeader.asSliver(onRefresh: () async {
          await Future.delayed(Duration(milliseconds: 1000));
          // return true,it mean refreshCompleted,return false it mean refreshFailed
          return true;
        }):null,
        .....
        _enablePullUp?ClassicFooter.asSliver(onLoading: () async {
          await Future.delayed(Duration(milliseconds: 1000));
          //return true it mean set the footerStatus to idle,else set to NoData state
          return true;
        }):null
      ].where((child) => child!=null).toList(),
    );

Frequent problems #

  • IOS Status Bar Double-click Why ListView does not automatically scroll to the top?

    This problem is not my encapsulation error after testing. When the controller in ListView is replaced, this problem will occur, probably because of the processing operation in Scaffold.,please issue flutter。
  • How to use it with NestedScrollView?

    1.3.0 provides a new attribute isNestWrapped for compatibility. Note that when this attribute is opened, scollController depends on NestScrollView, internally via PrimaryScrollController. of (context) To get scrollController, scrollController is placed in NestedScrollView。
  • Why is there a empty space in the top or tail indicator after using CuperNavigationBar (not just in this case)?

    the reason may be SafeArea,the solution: wrap SmartRefresher in SafeArea
  • Compatibility?

    1.3.0 replaces a new method to implement the indicator. The internal indicator is implemented by monitoring scroll Controller position changes. There are no methods such as NotificationListener and GestureDector that may cause sliding gesture conflicts. So it should be compatible with most of the libraries that need to be used between gestures. However, some libraries may not be compatible and ScrollPhysics needs to be rewritten, which is clearly required for internal FrontStyle.
