jala_websocket: ^0.8.2 copied to clipboard
WebSocketChannel wrapper for Jala: connection lifecycle and frame timelines (direction, size, preview). Frames are not throttled.
0.8.2 — 2026-08-11 #
- Lockstep release. No changes in this package;
jala_coregainsJalaConfig.localeand the inspector UI ships in Indonesian — see thejalaandjala_uichangelogs.
0.8.1 — not published separately #
Prepared in the repo, then folded into 0.8.2 before it reached pub.dev. Everything below shipped in 0.8.2; there is no 0.8.1 on pub.dev.
- Lockstep release. No changes in this package; see the
jalaandjala_uichangelogs for the Android input/back fixes and the new file-backed export destination.
0.8.0 — 2026-08-03 #
Fixed #
- Frames sent via
sink.addStream(...)are captured. Onlysink.add(...)was hooked, so a connection driven byaddStreamproduced a silently partial record in the inspector.
0.7.0 #
- The captured handshake URL goes through
JalaRedactor.redactUri. A?token=on the handshake URL is the usual way WebSocket auth is carried, so it now gets the same capture-time masking as an HTTP query string.
0.6.0 #
- Lockstep release with jala_core 0.6.0 (call diff + import codecs).
0.5.3 #
- Lockstep release with jala_core 0.5.3 security defaults.
0.5.2 #
- Lockstep release; no functional changes.
0.5.1 #
- Pub metadata:
homepage,issue_tracker, description notes frames are not throttled (docs-only).
0.5.0 #
- Lockstep release; no functional changes. Bumped for the
jala_core0.5.0 dependency (throttling / session codec / subscription payloads are orthogonal to this package — WS frames still pass through unthrottled).
0.4.0 #
- First release of the
package:web_socket_channeladapter for Jala. JalaWebSocketChannel.wrap(channel, {uri})— wraps anyWebSocketChannel, returning one with identicalstream/sinkbehavior that also captures:- Connection lifecycle:
WsConnectEventimmediately on wrap,WsOpenEventoncechannel.readycompletes,WsCloseEvent(code/reason) on either side closing or the stream completing on its own,WsErrorEventon a stream error. - Every frame sent (
sink.add) or received (stream), as aWsFrame: direction, size, and — for text frames — a redacted preview capped at 4 KB. Binary frames are captured as metadata-only (size, no payload).
- Connection lifecycle:
- Disabled Jala (or an uninitialized binding) makes
wrap()a true no-op: it returns the exact samechannelinstance, untouched. - Capture is wrapped in
try/catchthroughout, so a bug in Jala's own logic can never break the app's WebSocket traffic — the original data, error, or done event is always forwarded exactly once.
