🔍 How It Works

HTTP Request Handling

When an HTTP request is received:

1. The proxy authenticates the request (if credentials are set)
2. Headers and body are forwarded to the target server
3. The response is piped back to the client
4. All traffic is logged (if enabled)

HTTPS Tunneling

For HTTPS connections:

1. Client sends a CONNECT request to establish a tunnel
2. Proxy creates a socket connection to the target server
3. A bidirectional data pipe is established between client and server
4. Raw TCP data flows through the tunnel without inspection
