• Follows bb_player 8.57.0 — bb_player: ^8.57.0 (caret floor, follows newer, not a hard pin). Built against the 8.57 native player SDK.
• Fixed: opening a video no longer pushes channel content under the status bar. While the inline player was mounted the SDK dropped safe-area padding on all four edges of the channel WebView, and the detail-page header — which the docs said carries the top inset instead — never actually applied one. Now only the top edge is suppressed, and the header genuinely carries that inset. Bottom, left and right padding survive while a video is open, so a host tab bar keeps its clearance.
• Fixed: safeAreaInsets values are no longer silently discarded. An explicit inset now opts its edge in, so safeAreaInsets: BBSafeAreaInsets(bottom: 56) works without also adding BBSafeAreaEdge.bottom to safeAreaEdges. This matches what the API docs and the safe-area guide already promised.
  • Behaviour change: if you pass safeAreaInsets for an edge missing from safeAreaEdges, that edge is now padded where it previously was not. Passing safeAreaEdges: const {} with no insets still disables SDK handling entirely.
• safeAreaInsets is now documented in the README prop table (it was missing).
