ScenarioRunOutcome class

One scenario's verdict, and the steps it captured on the way to it.

Constructors

ScenarioRunOutcome({required String file, required String name, required bool ok, bool skipped = false, String? skipReason, String? device, Map<String, String> axes = const {}, int ms = 0, List<ScenarioRunStep> steps = const [], int stepCount = 0, int unchangedCount = 0, int unsettledCount = 0, int guessedCount = 0, List<String> stillTicking = const [], List<ScenarioRunError> errors = const [], Map<String, Map<String, String>>? translations, int stepsElided = 0})

Properties

axes → Map<String, String>
The app axes it ran under — ScenarioProfile.axes, each the value the run named or the folder's first. Said for the same reason device is: the folder fills in what the run left out, and two scenarios of the same run can differ here. Empty where the folder declares none.
final
device → String?
The device it actually ran as. Worth saying because a run that named no device gets one per folder — whatever profile the scenario's flutter_test_config.dart declares — so two scenarios of the same run can differ here.
final
errors → List<ScenarioRunError>
The failure, when ok is false. The last captured step is the frame just before it.
final
file → String
final
guessedCount → int
How many steps drew work nothing announced, found only by turning the real event loop — see ScenarioRunStep.guessed. Each is a picture that depended on how fast the machine was, and a comparison against another run of the same scenario on a slower one can differ there for no reason in the branch. Carried beside unsettledCount for the reason it is.
final
hashCode → int
The hash code for this object.
no setterinherited
ms → int
final
name → String
final
ok → bool
final
runtimeType → Type
A representation of the runtime type of the object.
no setterinherited
skipped → bool
True when the scenario declared skip: true and its body never ran — the same answer flutter test gives the same file. ok is true, so a skipped scenario does not fail the run, but green it is not: zero steps, zero milliseconds, and this flag saying why.
final
skipReason → String?
The reason the declaration gave, when it gave one.
final
stepCount → int
How many steps the scenario captured — which is steps.length unless they were left out of this copy.
final
steps → List<ScenarioRunStep>
Trimmed in an action's answer per its steps= mode; whole in the file ScenarioRunPackage.report names. Count them with stepCount, never with this list's length.
final
stepsElided → int
How many of stepCount's steps are on disk rather than in this copy — zero when steps is the whole of them, which is what run.json and a steps: all request both hold.
final
stillTicking → List<String>
What kept asking for frames on the steps counted in unsettledCount — every step's ScenarioRunStep.stillTicking, once each.
final
translations → Map<String, Map<String, String>>?
Every key each catalog was asked for on the way through this scenario, and what it answered: catalog -> key -> value.
final
unchangedCount → int
How many of those steps a verb acted for nothing on — pictures byte-identical to their parent's. A green run with most of its steps here is the signature of a stalled walk: a loop tapping Continue on a page that never completed passes every assertion and photographs the same screen until its bound. Carried beside stepCount for the same reason: the summary is the copy a reader gets, and this is the number that makes a stall visible in it.
final
unsettledCount → int
How many of those steps were captured with the app still animating after a policy that waited for it to stop — settled: false with waited: true, the settle giving up with frames still scheduled.

Methods

carrying(List<ScenarioRunStep> keep) → ScenarioRunOutcome
This outcome with keep in place of its steps, and nothing else changed.
noSuchMethod(Invocation invocation) → dynamic
Invoked when a nonexistent method or property is accessed.
inherited
summarised(List<ScenarioRunStep> keep) → ScenarioRunOutcome
This outcome as an answer carries it: keep of its steps, and the bulk left in the run.json its package names.
toJson() → Map<String, Object?>
toString() → String
A string representation of this object.
inherited
withFailingStepOnly() → ScenarioRunOutcome
This outcome carrying only the frame the failure was captured at — the last one, per errors. The trail that led there is in the file.
withoutSteps() → ScenarioRunOutcome
This outcome with its steps left on disk.

Operators

operator ==(Object other) → bool
The equality operator.
