The turn of the real event loop on which work nothing announced landed and was drawn into this step — the deepest, when several did — or null when nothing had to be guessed at.

The half of landed that can be stated. A decode announces itself and is waited for however long it takes; a FutureBuilder on a real future, an untracked read or an isolate does not, and the landing spends a dozen turns of the real loop looking for it. When one of them finds it, the picture is right — on this machine. On a slower one the same work lands on a later turn, or on none, and the step photographs what came before it. So this is a hazard, not a success: the fix is to hand the work to RealWork.run (package:flutterware/real_work.dart), after which it is announced, waited for, and gone from here.
