AppMenuSurfaceStyle class
Scopes a subtree of AppMenuItems onto the dark menu surface.
The shell's left navigation drawer sits on ComponentColourTokens.menuSurface; wrapping its menu rows in this scope makes them render with light content (ComponentColourTokens.menuOnSurface) and a matching dark row background so the drawer reads as a single dark panel. AppMenuItems used anywhere outside such a scope stay on the default light surface.
