text_on_path library
Text laid along a curve with cursive joins kept closed: Arabic letters stay connected along the baseline, and Devanagari and Bengali keep an unbroken headline.
Classes
- ConnectionBand
- The rows a script's letters join on, in the flat run: y down from the top of the line.
- ConnectionLine
- Which rows a script's letters join on.
- PathCurve
- A curve to lay text along: any Path, or a circular arc for a seal.
- ShapedText
- Text shaped once, as one straight line, by Flutter's own paragraph engine, then drawn one grapheme cluster at a time into an atlas.
- TextAtlas
- The run's clusters drawn at some density, each alone in its own cell.
- TextOnPath
- Text laid along curve, with cursive joins kept closed.
- TextOnPathMetrics
- How well a placement keeps joins closed and letters in shape. Lengths are logical pixels at the text's size.
- TextOnPathPlacement
- Where each point of a ShapedText goes on a PathCurve.
- TextOutlines
- Each cluster's outline as vectors, for drawing sharp at any zoom and for SVG or PDF.
- TextUnit
- One grapheme cluster of the run.
- UnitPair
- Two clusters side by side in the flat run, left and right (indices into ShapedText.units), with the boundary x between them.
