query library

Typed filters, query execution and generated row-decoding support.

Classes

Filter<T>
A parameterized SQL condition on one field. Combine with & / | on that field. SQL null semantics apply; eq(null) and ne(null) use IS NULL / IS NOT NULL. Conditions capture their values when constructed, including byte contents.
TableQuery<R>
Immutable query scope used by statically generated field-specific facades. SQL field names resolve only within this physical table. Mutation return shapes are decoded from RETURNING; no preparatory SELECT is performed. PostgreSQL reads, updates and deletes use ONLY to exclude inherited rows. SQLite column identities fold ASCII case; PostgreSQL quoted names retain it. PostgreSQL identifiers must fit within 63 UTF-8 bytes. SQLite's sqlite_ table prefix and the migration history table are reserved.

Enums

Direction
One explicit ordering direction. Collation belongs to the database engine.

Constants

asc → const Direction
Ascending order, used with a generated table's orderBy method.
desc → const Direction
Descending order, used with a generated table's orderBy method.

Functions

containsText(String value) → Filter<String>
Literal substring matching using native LIKE, escaping SQL wildcards.
decodeValue<T>(Object? value) → T
Scalar decoder shared by generated model and record selections.
eq<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Equality; null becomes IS NULL.
gt<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Greater than a non-null ordered scalar.
gte<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Greater than or equal to a non-null ordered scalar.
lt<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Less than a non-null ordered scalar.
lte<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Less than or equal to a non-null ordered scalar.
ne<T>(T value) → Filter<T>
Inequality; null becomes IS NOT NULL.
oneOf<T>(Iterable<T> values) → Filter<T>
Membership. Empty input matches nothing; an explicit null matches SQL NULL.
quoteIdentifier(String name) → String
Quotes one physical identifier; arbitrary values must always be bound.
startsWith(String value) → Filter<String>
Literal prefix matching using native LIKE, escaping SQL wildcard characters.

Typedefs

RowDecoder<R> = R Function(List<Object?> row)
Generated decoders read positional cells without maps or reflection.
