OrbFrame class

One rendered instant: a reusable, growable buffer of dots. Each dot is stride doubles — x, y, z, radius, ink (0 = full ink, 1 = none), alpha. order holds the indices sorted far → near after sortByDepth.

Methods

add(double x, double y, double z, double radius, double ink, [double alpha = 1]) → void
addLine(double x1, double y1, double x2, double y2, double ink, double alpha, double width) → void
addTinted(double x, double y, double z, double radius, double ink, double alpha, double red, double green, double blue, double tint) → void
Like add, with a colour of its own: red, green and blue in 0..1, and tint — how far the dot leans from the ink toward that colour (0 = pure ink, 1 = pure tint). blend carries the tint across a morph.
alpha(int i) → double
clampRadius(double rMin) → void
clear() → void
copyFrom(OrbFrame other) → void
ink(int i) → double
multiplyAlpha(double factor) → void
noSuchMethod(Invocation invocation) → dynamic
Invoked when a nonexistent method or property is accessed.
inherited
radius(int i) → double
scaleAbout(double cx, double cy, double scale) → void
sortByDepth() → void
tint(int i) → double
How far dot i leans from the ink toward its own colour, 0..1.
toString() → String
A string representation of this object.
inherited
translate(double dx, double dy) → void
x(int i) → double
y(int i) → double
z(int i) → double

Operators

operator ==(Object other) → bool
The equality operator.

Static Methods

blend(OrbFrame from, OrbFrame to, double progress, OrbFrame out, {double stagger = 0.35}) → void
Writes the index-mapped morph of from into to at progress into out. Dots leave in a staggered wave (stagger of the progress span) so the change reads as a flow rather than a slide. Lines cross-fade.

Constants

lineStride → const int
stride → const int
