MotionTrack class

A mutable track with the door the probes demanded: key values retune freely; key time moves, inserts and removes go through methods that keep the list sorted — the everyday editor drag past a neighbour would otherwise silently break the hold rule.

Constructors

MotionTrack(List<MotionKey> keys, {TrackKind? kind})
The kind is READ OFF THE KEYS unless it is given: a track of colours is a colour track, and a file that spells MotionTrack([MotionKey(…)]) should not also have to say so. Given explicitly for an empty track, which has nothing to read.

Properties

clips → List<MotionClip>
Blocks instead of keys — see MotionClip, kept sorted by start. A track has one or the other: a block's keys would be derived, so a key added to a block track replaces the blocks, and a block put on a key track replaces the keys. Two blocks that overlap crossfade over the overlap. The timeline draws bars for them; the file spells ClipTrack for one and ClipBlocks for several.

Methods

blendAt(Duration t) → ClipBlend

Available on MotionTrack, provided by the MotionTrackBlend extension

The blocks' answer at t. Inside one block, that block. Inside two, the earlier leads and the later comes in, blend running 0 to 1 from the later's start to the earlier's end. Between blocks the last one to end holds its end; before the first, the first holds its start.
copy() → MotionTrack
evaluate(Duration t) → Object

Available on MotionTrack, provided by the MotionTrackEvaluate extension

The hold rule: before the first key its value, after the last the last, and between neighbours a lerp shaped by the ARRIVING key's curve. Pure in t — backwards seek needs no history.
insertKey(MotionKey k) → void
moveKey(MotionKey k, Duration at) → void
noSuchMethod(Invocation invocation) → dynamic
Invoked when a nonexistent method or property is accessed.

removeKey(MotionKey k) → void
