textStyle property

Map<String, String> textStyle
final

The style this node's glyphs were actually painted with, resolved.

Empty for everything that draws no text, and for every reader that cannot get inside the app (run's cockpit) — the same gap as layout.

It is a second bucket rather than more properties because the two answer different questions and one of them was being mistaken for the other. properties is what the author wrote: Text.debugFillProperties reports style?.debugFillProperties(…), so a bare Text under a MaterialApp reports one property — its words — and says nothing about the 14pt Roboto it draws. This is the merged result: DefaultTextStyle, the theme slot behind it, MediaQuery.boldTextOf and the spacing overrides, all already applied. See guest_inspect.dart for where it is read from and what it cost.

Keyed by the framework's own diagnostic names — color, size, weight, family, letterSpacing, height, decoration — so a row here and the same row in properties are the same measurement of the same field, which is what makes the two comparable. debugLabel rides along under its own name and is the provenance rather than a value.

Separate from properties for a second, duller reason too: that map is capped at twelve entries, and a resolved style is ten of them.
