setAlphaToCoverage method

  1. @override
void setAlphaToCoverage({
  1. required bool enabled,
})
override

Whether the next draws turn alpha into multisample coverage — P7.

A masked surface drawn this way keeps its alpha rather than cutting at a threshold, and the hardware covers that share of each pixel's samples: the edge of a leaf or a fence is antialiased by the same resolve that smooths a triangle's. Off by default and after every pass begins. Ask features.has(DeviceFeature.alphaToCoverage) first: a device answering false ignores this, and it does nothing in a pass of one sample anywhere. Ignoring it is therefore the default.

Implementation

@override
void setAlphaToCoverage({required bool enabled}) {
  alphaToCoverage = enabled;
  commands.add(RecordedAlphaToCoverage(enabled));
}
