experiment library

The experiment document, f3d.experiment: a level, the substances it uses by catalog id, the probes it reads, and a scenario of steps with the readings each expects and the questions each asks (ExperimentDocument); and the question a lesson or an experiment step asks (CheckQuestion).

Plain Dart, as the rest of this package: a server reads an experiment to replay and check a student's run with no Flutter SDK in its container.

Classes

CheckQuestion
A question a lesson step or an experiment step asks: the text, the answers accepted, and how many attempts a student has before an accepted answer is shown.
ExpectedReading
A reading a step expects from a probe when it ends: value within tolerance.
ExperimentDocument
A laboratory experiment as a document (D31): the level it happens in, the substances it uses by id, the probes it reads and a scenario of steps with expected readings — what flutter3d_education reads, the editor edits and a lesson viewer plays.
ExperimentObservation
A reading taken of the real thing: a probe's value at at seconds of the scenario, with its uncertainty.
ExperimentParameter
A number the experiment can be run with: a pendulum's length, a solution's concentration. A step sets it; a student's panel changes it within min and max.
ExperimentProbe
A probe the experiment reads, and the level entity it is on.
ExperimentStep
One step of a scenario: the parameters it sets, how long the simulation then runs, what the probes should read at its end, and a question it may ask.
ExperimentSubstance
A substance the experiment uses, by its id in the materials catalog (f3d.water, <pluginId>.brine), and what it is for.
ExperimentUnknown
A parameter the experiment does not know and an inverse run estimates from ExperimentDocument.observations: where it may lie, and what is believed of it before.
Probe
An instrument in the simulation: a quantity read at a region every step, published as a ProbeReading and written on the run's tape.

Constants

experimentFormat → const FormatSpec
f3d.experiment in the format registry.
experimentVersion → const int
The f3d.experiment version this build writes and the newest it reads.
