disk_kit library
Native disk discovery, volume operations, copying, formatting, and installation media.
Use DiskKit to access the registered platform implementation. DiskInfo describes disks and volumes returned by discovery and completed operations.

- DiskInfo
- A storage device, partition, or volume reported by the operating system.
- DiskKit
- Communicates with the operating system's disk management APIs.
- FileCopyProgress
- Measured file-copy events. No estimate or in-flight cancellation is implied.
- MediaOperationProgress
- Progress for one destructive media operation.

- Filesystems accepted by the macOS formatting implementation.
- DiskPartitionScheme
- Partition table created when formatting an entire disk.

- The current stage of writing an image or creating installation media.
