toString method
A string representation of this object.
Some classes have a default textual representation,
often paired with a static parse
function (like int.parse).
These classes will provide the textual representation as
their string representation.
Other classes have no meaningful textual representation
that a program will care about.
Such classes will typically override toString
to provide
useful information when inspecting the object,
mainly for debugging or logging.
Implementation
@override
String toString() {
var row = Int8List(width);
var result = StringBuffer();
for (var y = 0; y < height; y++) {
row = getRow(y, row);
for (var x = 0; x < width; x++) {
var luminance = row[x] & 0xFF;
String c;
if (luminance < 0x40) {
c = '#';
} else if (luminance < 0x80) {
c = '+';
} else if (luminance < 0xC0) {
c = '.';
} else {
c = ' ';
}
result.write(c);
}
result.write('\n');
}
return result.toString();
}
