The opaque bytes, exactly as the host supplied them.

WIRE REALITY. The ZIP-302 0xFF field carries no length framing: anything under 511 bytes is ZERO-PADDED on the wire and reads back as the full 511. A host that needs its exact length frames it INSIDE these bytes.
