LoadProgress class

Download progress update.

progress is aggregated across every artifact the model needs (weights plus companions such as a vision projector), never moves backwards, and reaches 1.0 only once the model is ready. A first event at 0 bytes arrives as the transfer starts, so a UI can tell "connecting" apart from "stuck".

totalBytes → int?
Total across every artifact, or null while unknown. A single-file model takes the size the server announces, so this fills in once the download connects even when the registry publishes no size. It stays null for a Hugging Face repo, or a multi-file model missing a size. downloadedBytes is exact either way.
