trim function
Removes leading and trailing whitespace or specified characters from str
.
If chars
is provided, it specifies the characters to trim.
Returns the trimmed string.
Example:
print(trim(' abc ')); // Output: 'abc'
print(trim('-_-abc-_-', '_-')); // Output: 'abc'
