Where a captured TTErrorSignal goes once the channel has it.
The channel knows WHEN a failure happened and WHAT it was; it must not know HOW the node keeps it or ships it. Each app supplies an adapter: one that writes the signal to its durable store so it survives a restart, and — when the failure is worth telling other devices — seals it and emits it to the mesh as a ttErrorSignalEventType event. A node that only wants a local record implements just the write half.
record must be best-effort and total: it is called on the failure path, so it must not throw. An adapter that cannot persist or emit swallows its own error rather than raising a second one on top of the first.
