release method
Proactively frees native's cached click-lookup entries for
recommendations — call this once a fetched list is no longer shown
(e.g. from the publisher widget's dispose()).
Optional: native's own cache is also FIFO-bounded so a caller that never calls this does not leak unboundedly, but that bound evicts a whole fetch at once, so a batch still on screen elsewhere can be evicted before this list is. Calling this when done is the only way to free exactly this list's entries without depending on how many other fetches happen in the meantime.
Never throws. This is meant to be called fire-and-forget from
dispose(), which is synchronous — a caller has no reasonable way to
await or handle a rejected Future from there, so a native-channel
failure is logged (via TeadsLog, tag Recommendations) rather than
propagated. Contrast fetch/registerClick, which rethrow because
they're awaited from call sites that can act on the failure.
Implementation
@override
Future<void> release(List<TeadsRecommendation> recommendations) async {
releaseCallCount++;
lastReleased = recommendations;
}
