InvalidPropertyException class

The error a BeanWrapper throws when a property path is malformed (items[, address..city).

Such paths usually come from outside, as request parameter names. DataBinder treats it like an unknown field: skipped while ignoreUnknownFields is on, so hostile request keys cannot break binding.

try {
  BeanWrapper(person).setPropertyValue('items[', 'x');
} on InvalidPropertyException catch (e) {
  log.warning(e.propertyName); // items[
}

Spring (Java):

} catch (InvalidPropertyException e) { ... }
