resetPhysicalMemoryProbeForTesting static method

void resetPhysicalMemoryProbeForTesting({
  1. bool forceFailure = false,
})

Clear the memoized RAM value and probe counter. forceFailure makes the probe report "unavailable" without touching the platform, so the cached- failure path is testable on a machine where detection would succeed. Tests MUST reset this in tearDown — a leaked true would make every later cap computation fall back to the fixed default.

Implementation

static void resetPhysicalMemoryProbeForTesting({bool forceFailure = false}) {
  _cachedTotalPhysicalMemoryMb = null;
  _totalPhysicalMemoryProbeCount = 0;
  _forcePhysicalMemoryProbeFailure = forceFailure;
  // D5 fix: also reset the fallback-cap log-once guard so a test that
  // exercises the fallback path doesn't leave it permanently silenced for
  // every later test in the same process.
  _loggedAdaptiveCapFallback = false;
}
