upstream property

ClockChain get upstream

How sendDataAt's source clock maps onto this node's PeerClock: the hops the stream crossed to get here.

Sent to this stream's subscribers whenever it is set, so set it again every few seconds as the estimates behind it are refreshed — that is also what brings a late subscriber, or one that lost the message on an unreliable channel, up to date.

Implementation

ClockChain get upstream => ClockChain.empty;
set upstream (ClockChain chain)

Implementation

set upstream(ClockChain chain) =>
    throw UnsupportedError('This transport does not relay source clocks');
