reset method

Future<void> reset()
inherited

Closes the connection to the tag and opens it again, reselecting it in the RF field.

This is not free, and what it costs is not obvious: the new connection carries none of the old one's state, so a Mifare Classic sector authentication and any timeout set with setTimeout are both deliberately discarded.

What it buys is a way to carry on after an authentication that failed. A wrong key halts the tag, while the connection the plugin holds still looks alive, so every command after it fails too -- which makes trying a list of candidate keys against a sector impossible without this, short of ending the session and asking the user to tap again.

Implementation

Future<void> reset() => androidApi.resetTech(_handle, _tech);
