BackendModelFormatRouting class abstract

Optional backend capability for loading a model in an explicitly chosen ModelFormat instead of the format the backend would detect.

The engine calls these methods to load a source whose ModelSource.format is set. A backend without this interface loads only the format of the runtime that BackendRuntimeIdentity reports; any other format throws LlamaUnsupportedException.
