Duration const duplicateWindow

The same URL handled again within this window is treated as one open.

The SDK listens for incoming links itself, and an app may also pass the launch link to handleDeepLink (which was required before the SDK did this). The window is long enough to cover the app making that call after initialize() returns on a slow network.
