setSmoothingHalftime method

Future<void> setSmoothingHalftime(
  1. double halftime
)

Overrides the half-time (forget factor) of the time-stamp smoothing used by LSLProcessingOptions.dejitter.

The default is 90 seconds unless the config file says otherwise. A longer window yields lower jitter but tracks changes in clock rate (usually from temperature) more slowly.

Parameters:

  • halftime: seconds after which a past sample is weighted by 1/2. Throws: LSLException if liblsl rejects the value.

Implementation

Future<void> setSmoothingHalftime(double halftime) async {
  if (_useIsolates) return _setSmoothingHalftimeIsolated(halftime);
  _setSmoothingHalftimeDirect(halftime);
}
