FunctionTimeoutException class
The Function ran and failed.
The error is the Function's own, not the platform's — its message comes from the code that was deployed. The function ran past its timeout and was killed.
Its own type because the remedy differs from a function that threw: a timeout means retry, raise the function's timeout at deploy, or move the slow part elsewhere. Until 20 Sep 2026 it arrived as FunctionExecutionException — indistinguishable from an exception, which is the one thing it is not. The server already tells them apart; it logs 504 as "timeout".
