BaseKey get baseKey

Returns a BaseKey for the current KeyMap instance.

TODO: I know this is a really long switch statement, but I'm not 100% sure how to split it up so if you discovered this message and think this is bad as hell, please open an issue with a suggestion on how to improve this, and I will try my best to implement it.
