Why id can't be a Dart package name (and so a package's id), or null if it can.

isCategory(String text) → bool

Whether text is a category id: lowercase words joined by -.

isDottedIdentifier(String text) → bool

Whether text is a Dart name, optionally dotted (MyPlugin or MyPlugin.extension), and nothing else — so it can be written into generated code without letting anything else in.

isId(String id) → bool

Whether id is a valid package name.

isWindowsDevice(String name) → bool

Whether name is one of Windows's device names (con, nul, com1…), which no file or folder there can be called.
