delete method

Future<Operation> delete(
  1. String name, {
  2. String? $fields,
})

Delete the OS policy assignment.

This method creates a new revision of the OS policy assignment. This method returns a long running operation (LRO) that contains the rollout details. The rollout can be cancelled by cancelling the LRO. If the LRO completes and is not cancelled, all revisions associated with the OS policy assignment are deleted. For more information, see [Method: projects.locations.osPolicyAssignments.operations.cancel](https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/osconfig/rest/v1alpha/projects.locations.osPolicyAssignments.operations/cancel).

Request parameters:

name - Required. The name of the OS policy assignment to be deleted Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/osPolicyAssignments/\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Operation.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<Operation> delete(
  core.String name, {
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final _queryParams = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final _url = 'v1alpha/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name');

  final _response = await _requester.request(
    _url,
    'DELETE',
    queryParams: _queryParams,
  );
  return Operation.fromJson(_response as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
