Updates properties of the specified subscription.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

name - The name of the subscription. Structured like: projects/{project_number}/locations/{location}/subscriptions/{subscription_id} Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/subscriptions/\[^/\]+$.

updateMask - Required. A mask specifying the subscription fields to change.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Subscription.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.
