patch method

Future<NotificationChannel> patch(
  1. NotificationChannel request,
  2. String name, {
  3. String? updateMask,
  4. String? $fields,
})

Updates a notification channel.

Fields not specified in the field mask remain unchanged.Design your application to single-thread API calls that modify the state of notification channels in a single project. This includes calls to CreateNotificationChannel, DeleteNotificationChannel and UpdateNotificationChannel.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

name - The full REST resource name for this channel. The format is: projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER]/notificationChannels/[CHANNEL_ID] The [CHANNEL_ID] is automatically assigned by the server on creation. Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/notificationChannels/\[^/\]+$.

updateMask - The fields to update.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a NotificationChannel.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.
