create method
Asynchronously creates a linked dataset in BigQuery which makes it possible to use BigQuery to read the logs stored in the log bucket.
A log bucket may currently only contain one link.
request
- The metadata request object.
Request parameters:
parent
- Required. The full resource name of the bucket to create a link
for.
"projects/[PROJECT_ID]/locations/[LOCATION_ID]/buckets/[BUCKET_ID]"
"organizations/[ORGANIZATION_ID]/locations/[LOCATION_ID]/buckets/[BUCKET_ID]"
"billingAccounts/[BILLING_ACCOUNT_ID]/locations/[LOCATION_ID]/buckets/[BUCKET_ID]"
"folders/[FOLDER_ID]/locations/[LOCATION_ID]/buckets/[BUCKET_ID]"
Value must have pattern
^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/buckets/\[^/\]+$
.
linkId
- Required. The ID to use for the link. The link_id can have up
to 100 characters. A valid link_id must only have alphanumeric characters
and underscores within it.
$fields
- Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial
response.
Completes with a Operation.
Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.
If the used http.Client
completes with an error when making a REST call,
this method will complete with the same error.
Implementation
async.Future<Operation> create(
Link request,
core.String parent, {
core.String? linkId,
core.String? $fields,
}) async {
final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
if (linkId != null) 'linkId': [linkId],
if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
};
final url_ = 'v2/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$parent') + '/links';
final response_ = await _requester.request(
url_,
'POST',
body: body_,
queryParams: queryParams_,
);
return Operation.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
