targetType property

The type of software component that can be updated.

Required. Possible string values are:

  • "TARGET_TYPE_UNSPECIFIED" : This must not be used.
  • "SINGLE_APP" : An app on Google System services. singleApp must be set. This can be used only to control an app which is a part of GOOGLE_SYSTEM_SERVICES.
  • "GOOGLE_SYSTEM_SERVICES" : Google system services (https://support.google.com/product-documentation/answer/14343500) updated from Google Play, such as WebView.
  • "GOOGLE_PLAY_SYSTEM_UPDATE" : Google Play System Updates. See https://source.android.com/docs/core/ota/modular-system .
  • "OS_UPDATE_WITHOUT_API_LEVEL_CHANGE" : An OS update issued by the OEM which does not change the API level of the device.
  • "OS_UPDATE_WITH_API_LEVEL_CHANGE" : An OS update issued by the OEM which changes the API level of the device.
