updateMetadataAsync method

Updates the reseller metadata attached to a batch of devices.

This method updates devices asynchronously and returns an Operation that can be used to track progress. Read [Long‑running batch operations](/zero-touch/guides/how-it-works#operations). Android Devices only.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

partnerId - Required. The reseller partner ID. Value must have pattern ^\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Operation.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.
