applyConfiguration method

Applies a Configuration to the device to register the device for zero-touch enrollment.

After applying a configuration to a device, the device automatically provisions itself on first boot, or next factory reset.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

parent - Required. The customer managing the device. An API resource name in the format customers/[CUSTOMER_ID]. Value must have pattern ^customers/\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Empty.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.
