changequorum method
ChangeQuorum is strictly restricted to databases that use dual region instance configurations.
Initiates a background operation to change quorum a database from
dual-region mode to single-region mode and vice versa. The returned
long-running operation will have a name of the format
projects//instances//databases//operations/
and can be used to track
execution of the ChangeQuorum. The metadata field type is
ChangeQuorumMetadata. Authorization requires
spanner.databases.changequorum
permission on the resource database.
request
- The metadata request object.
Request parameters:
name
- Required. Name of the database in which to apply the
ChangeQuorum. Values are of the form projects//instances//databases/
.
Value must have pattern
^projects/\[^/\]+/instances/\[^/\]+/databases/\[^/\]+$
.
$fields
- Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial
response.
Completes with a Operation.
Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.
If the used http.Client
completes with an error when making a REST call,
this method will complete with the same error.
Implementation
async.Future<Operation> changequorum(
ChangeQuorumRequest request,
core.String name, {
core.String? $fields,
}) async {
final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
};
final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name') + ':changequorum';
final response_ = await _requester.request(
url_,
'POST',
body: body_,
queryParams: queryParams_,
);
return Operation.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
