update method
Creates or updates a logs-based metric.
request
- The metadata request object.
Request parameters:
metricName
- Required. The resource name of the metric to update:
"projects/[PROJECT_ID]/metrics/[METRIC_ID]" The updated metric must be
provided in the request and it's name field must be the same as
[METRIC_ID] If the metric does not exist in [PROJECT_ID], then a new
metric is created.
Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/metrics/\[^/\]+$
.
$fields
- Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial
response.
Completes with a LogMetric.
Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.
If the used http.Client
completes with an error when making a REST call,
this method will complete with the same error.
Implementation
async.Future<LogMetric> update(
LogMetric request,
core.String metricName, {
core.String? $fields,
}) async {
final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
};
final url_ = 'v2/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$metricName');
final response_ = await _requester.request(
url_,
'PUT',
body: body_,
queryParams: queryParams_,
);
return LogMetric.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
