Deletes the batch workload resource.
If the batch is not in a CANCELLED, SUCCEEDED or FAILED State, the delete operation fails and the response returns FAILED_PRECONDITION.
Request parameters:
name
- Required. The fully qualified name of the batch to retrieve in
the format
"projects/PROJECT_ID/locations/DATAPROC_REGION/batches/BATCH_ID"
Value must have pattern
^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/batches/\[^/\]+$
.
$fields
- Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial
response.
Completes with a Empty.
Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.
If the used http.Client

this method will complete with the same error.
Implementation
async.Future<Empty> delete(
core.String name, {
core.String? $fields,
}) async {
final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
};
final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name');
final response_ = await _requester.request(
url_,
'DELETE',
queryParams: queryParams_,
);
return Empty.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
