patch method
Updates an existing Instance in a given project and location.
request
- The metadata request object.
Request parameters:
name
- Required. Unique name of the resource in this scope including
project and location using the form:
projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/instances/{instance_id}
Note: Memcached instances are managed and addressed at the regional level
so location_id
here refers to a Google Cloud region; however, users may
choose which zones Memcached nodes should be provisioned in within an
instance. Refer to zones field for more details.
Value must have pattern
^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/instances/\[^/\]+$
.
updateMask
- Required. Mask of fields to update. * displayName
$fields
- Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial
response.
Completes with a Operation.
Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.
If the used http.Client
completes with an error when making a REST call,
this method will complete with the same error.
Implementation
async.Future<Operation> patch(
Instance request,
core.String name, {
core.String? updateMask,
core.String? $fields,
}) async {
final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
if (updateMask != null) 'updateMask': [updateMask],
if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
};
final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name');
final response_ = await _requester.request(
url_,
'PATCH',
body: body_,
queryParams: queryParams_,
);
return Operation.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
