void identify(String user, { String? phone, String? email, })

Says which user the current request is — once auth knows. The world maps the id to a person.

Pass the phone or email the account was made with when the server knows them: a person the world declared by those, whose account one of their steps made, is then known by the id too — even when all their app sends afterwards comes from a sync engine, which carries no step.
