The worktree the paths above are relative to, on this machine.
On neither wire: a reader elsewhere has its own checkout, and a path naming this one is the thing being avoided. It is here so an in-process panel, which does open the files, is not handed the root separately at four call sites — and it is empty on a step parsed back out of a report, where the artifacts are beside the page rather than in a worktree.
