Narrows the scan to one directory, relative to the package.

Null scans the whole package, which is the default and what most projects want: previews are found wherever they are written, ignored files and build/ excluded the way git excludes them. Naming a directory is for a package that wants the scan bounded — and it moves new there too, so the place files are written and the place they are looked for stay the same.
