FoldedDelta class
One shape of difference, and how much of a comparison wore it.
Measured on this repository on 2026-08-30: a comparison whose events channel reported eleven deltas reported one shape — the same subchannel, the same subject and the same property, eleven times over, differing only in an identity hash. Eleven lines that are one fact, and a channel filter can only ever show or hide all eleven together.
So repetition is folded before anything is filtered: the reader sees
system · TextInput.setClient · autofill.uniqueIdentifier 11 steps and
can then decide about it. It is also what makes a filter aimable — a rule
authored by pointing at a folded row already names the shape, where
pointing at one of eleven identical lines names an accident.
