mask static method
One event reduced to what makes it that event, for reading.
Channel and title with digit-runs collapsed to #, because an id in a
path — /order/8814 — is the commonest way one run's event differs from
another's for no reason worth a line. This is a pairing key and a
label, never a comparison key: what two events have to agree on to be
the same event, not what has to agree for nothing to have changed.
