fluent_editor_character_map

Character map plugin for Fluent Editor.

Adds a special characters palette dialog accessible directly from the editor's toolbar. It allows users to browse, search, and insert a wide variety of symbols.

Features

• Categorized Symbols: Includes categories like Math, Arrows, Greek, Currency, Punctuation, Emoji, Geometric shapes, Superscript/Subscript, and Latin Extended.
• Search Functionality: Quickly find specific characters by name.
• Toolbar Integration: Automatically registers an "Insert Special Character" menu item in the editor's insert menu.
• Localization: All UI strings are customizable via CharacterMapLabels.
• Undo/Redo Support: Inserted characters automatically register as a grouped action in the editor's undo history.

Installation

Quick Start

Localization

All labels are customizable via CharacterMapLabels. Default values are in English. Labels can also be inherited automatically from FluentEditorLabels on the core document:
